Conw is an independently served AI assistant designed to improve through interactions with its users. Unlike conventional AI chatbots that rely primarily on a fixed model, Conw uses a guarded learning system where users can teach it preferences, facts, or word meanings. Confirmed lessons are stored in private memory and can be used immediately, while potential model improvements go through filtering, verification, and evaluation before being promoted. The current Conw-Retrain 12B model is served on the company's own hardware using MLX rather than being routed through an external AI API. Conw also provides an OpenAI-compatible API, allowing developers to integrate its models into their own applications.
