About ego (lite)

ego (lite) is a Chromium-based browser built specifically for AI agents and web automation. It allows agents such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and OpenClaw to control a real browser while reusing your existing logins, cookies, bookmarks, extensions, and browser profiles. Its ego-browser skill provides agents with tools for reading pages, clicking, filling forms, navigating, waiting, and capturing information. Agents can run tasks in separate Spaces, allowing them to work in the background without interfering with your normal browsing. ego (lite) also supports parallel browser automation and uses compact semantic snapshots to reduce the amount of information agents need to process. It is currently available for macOS and is free with no account required.
