Anthropic Updates Claude Rules on AI Abuse, Elections and Surveillance
You can challenge an AI chatbot, tell it that its answer is wrong, or ask it to try again. But what happens when someone repeatedly uses it for pointless, sustained verbal abuse? Anthropic, the company behind Claude, has made that question part of its updated AI usage policy. But the change attracting attention is only one piece of a much bigger update. The company is also spelling out stricter rules around election interference, deceptive campaigns, weapons-related software, and surveillance.
